In Copenhagen there are a few places where you can go up and take some nice photos of the skyline. Well, if you can really call it a skyline. Copenhagen doesn't have any skyscrapers, only a few towers. But they are really cool towers! These photos are from Tårnet a tower above the Danish parliament.
It is really easy to get up there, you won't have to pay. But you will go through a security check and scan. Then you go up a few elevators and then you are presented with a really beautiful view of Copenhagen. You will be able to see the Round Tower and the Øresund Bridge- the one that connects Copenhagen and it's Swedish brother Malmø.
The Glyptotek is a great place to spend a chill afternoon, especially if it is raining or very windy. If you go on a Tuesday the entrance is for free and you get to see the botanical garden in the middle of the huge museum, a lot of statues and very beautiful architecture and you can also get a brunch or coffee in the Glyptotek café.
Atelier September is a small cafe located on Gothersgade in the Copenhagen city centre. It has been around since 1987 as a workshop facility and in 2013 it was transformed into a cafe. This is deffinitelly one of the most photogenic cafes in Copenhagen. The natural food and artesian coffee are complimented by beautiful Scandinavian and minimalistic interior.
Last year I was taking pictures at Sanks Potts and Lovechild 1979 at Copenhagen Fashion Week SS17. The shows were so amazing and I am really happy about how the pictures turned out. The Lovechild show was at the Glyptotek garden and thankfully the weather turned out nice. And the Saks Potts show was at CPHLab and had a very industrial feeling to it.
The Round Tower is another great place to go and get skyline pictures of Copenhagen. The entrance for the tower is 25DKK, so not at all expensive. The view is amazing, but also the way up is really cool! So it is a great place for pictures.
Cantina, located 2 minutes from Nyhavn is a great place for dinner or afternoon coffee. They have a variety of food from pizza to oysters and various tapas dishes.
Meet my cats- Toastie and Minii. Toastie is the bigger white and organge one, he really likes his personal space and loves running outside. Minii is small, doesn't have a tail and fetches balls. She is super cuddly and loves people. They are both super cute and I love them so much!!
Copenhagen is so colorful and it is colourfull even during the night! Go to the lakes and get an amazing rainbow reflected in the water or walk around the city centre and get colourfull houses lit by the Copenhagen lamps.
I love Paris. Every year Tad and I go there during the spring for a little couples get away. It seriously is one of my favourite cities in Europe. Going to Ladurée, enjoying the food and wine.. The best city escape!
The Union Kitchen is another great place for a coffee while exporing Copenhagen. Located 1 minute away from Nyhavn it is easy to acess and find. Since it is so amazing, sometimes it is hard to get a spot! But during the summer you can sit outside.
In the past few years I have spent a lot of time in London. This is partially due to the fact that my best friend Elizabeth moved there to study University, so it is a lot easier going there to visit someone. Whenever I am there we walk all around the city and have a lot of coffee at Starbucks haha.
Møns Klint are chalk cliffs 2 hours drive from Copenhagen. I went there in the fall of 2016 when my cousins were visiting and it was unbelievably beautiful. I really want to go there during the summer because it seems like a great place to spend maybe a week renting a little cabin to get a rest from the busy city life.
In Copenhagen you can find Eataly at the bottom of Illum in the city centre. Once a month after closing hours they have a chefs dinner inspired by one Italian product. For our dinner it was olive oil- we actually had ice-cream made of olive oil and it was delicious. Eataly is also a great place to get Italian products in their store or Italian food in their restaurants.
