Real Alcázar de Seville

The Alcázar of Seville is the oldest royal palace in Europe still in use AND it's a UNESCO world heritage site. We went there on our last day in the magnificent city. One of the cool things that we were really excited about was the fact that Game of Thrones was filmed there and we saw the exact spots that we recognized from our favorite TV show. The whole palace is designed with a huge garden that is separated in many different parts. There is also an insane amount of beautifully decorated rooms and corridors.  I have never seen such a beautiful place! It is very much inspired by Northern African culture- it really makes me want to go to Morocco! I totally fell in love with all the small decorations and details that were everywhere! If my apartment was bigger i would totally decorate it like this- unfortunately my place is not big enough to handle elaborate mosaics haha- so Danish minimalism it is. I was actually considering making a table with small tile mosaics, will see it that will happen! Oh and I have some exciting projects piled up! Can't wait to share with you guys! Now I am going to sleep and tomorrow I am finally going out to take pictures again! Whop Whop- so nice to be back in Copenhagen, even tough there is snow!
