MADE IT TO SAN FRANCISCO

I made it to San Francisco.

How to put this. I am a "nervous" flier. Generally European flights, which are only a few hours, have been pretty good lately, but 11 hours direct Copenhagen to San Francisco was a bit of a challenge. The few days leading up to my departure were a bit nerve-wrecking, so landing on the West Coast was a huge relief! With the time difference I left Copenhagen at 12:30 and arrived in SF at 15:30, without sleeping on the flight- so jet lag was pretty tough! Thankfully my amazing godfather and his family took me in so I didn't have to be nervous about what will happen after landing.

The first few days were mainly about getting used to the time difference and exploring the town I am living in- Mill Valley, just over the Golden Gate Bridge in Marin. Constantly surprised by the beauty around me- is what I would define my current state haha! So now it is time to explore the city I will be staying in for the next four months! And here are a few photos from my first days in SF!

What would a visit to the US be without a nice burger? Got this one at Phyllis' Giant Burgers in Mill Valley.
